About Dekoning Innovations
DeKoning Innovations is a rural-based manufacturer of agricultural equipment located 27 kilometres north and 5 kilometres east of Neepawa, Manitoba.
The manufacturing business first evolved when three brothers—Ad, Bert and Leon de Koning—invented a product for use on their grain operation. As the product interest grew, the brothers decided to market their invention. In 1997, the manufacturing company Tridekon introduced the Cropsaver.
As the Cropsaver business grew, the Dekoning brothers realized the need to expand the operation. In 2007, the company Tridekon relocated to its current location and is owned and operated by Bert and Maureen de Koning. Leon also continues to manufacture products at an oil field business in Alberta and operates under the business name Innovative Solutions. Ad and his family continued with the family grain farm and manufactured the Televeyor and Televeyor Xpress under the business name DeKoning Innovations.
In the summer of 2020, there were some exciting change for DeKoning Innovations: the company transitioned to new leadership under Jordan and Brittany Friesen. The production plant was moved to Birnie, Manitoba, not far from its previous location. Jordan and Brittany are excited to meet existing and new clients over the coming years of operation, and are committed to helping their customers every step of the way.
